1062 а 15 For those who wish to converse through their minds, through reason, must understand each other in something: if that is not the case, how would they share in reasonable communication? Therefore every word they use must be known and must mean something specific: that is to say, to mean not many things, but just one. And should the name used have multiple meanings, it must be made clear which of these many meanings does it refer to in the particular case.
