Choosing an Appropriate Model for Investigating the Tasks of School in Mathematics after Grade VII According to IRT Methods

Absract. In the article the methods of Item Response Theory were used for analyzing the measuring qualities of the test tasks with a selectable answer from the National External Evaluation for the Grade 7 conducted in 2021 in the Sofiacity and Pleven districts. After agreement with the empirical data, the choice of the two-parameter model was justified using this methodology. A comparison was made between the obtained data and those from the Classical Test Theory.
