Absract. The article presents an approach to building pedagogical and digital competencies for developing STEM resources in future teachers from the Pedagogy of Physics and Informatics and Pedagogy of Mathematics and Informatics degree courses. It was provoked by the need for future teachers to be familiar with the concept of STEM education and to be prepared to create STEM resources and lessons already in their higher education. For this purpose, students must synergistically apply the acquired competences from studying natural and pedagogical disciplines. An idea to digitize a physical experiment is considered, taking a research approach to the creation of such resources. Through the students' participation in building such a resource, their creative activity is stimulated. Their competences for generating and realizing STEM ideas in their upcoming professional realization are formed.
