Absract. This article attempts to describe the main characteristics of projectoriented learning and project-based learning, to distinguish and compare the two educational models and compare their potential, according to the different educational goals of the Bulgarian language subject and according to the general goals of education – development of communicative, civic, digital and other
competences.
