Absract. In the present research, we will analyze a segment of a large sociological study conducted within the framework of the “Reading practices around the world and in our country” project. We will focus on questions from the survey related to the attitude towards reading texts studied at school - in Bulgaria and abroad, as well as the attitudes towards studying literature in general.
