However, this particular category of Special Educational needs (SEn) has so far received relatively little academic or political attention in comparison to other SEn. This paper attempts to point out the barriers that may prevent the inclusion of children with BESD both in terms of the theoretical conceptualisation of the category itself and in terms of the policies and practices that England and greece may implement. in order to achieve a further yet coherent picture of the current situation, this paper has identi\ufb01ed three different types of factors that may negatively influence inclusion. This research aims to examine the effect of problem solving instruction on mathematical thinking. The participants of the study include 213 university students (prospective teachers). The participants were required to answer 10 problems before they took \u201cMathematics Teaching\u201d and \u201cirregular Problem Solving\u201d courses. After the students successfully completed these courses they were required to answer 10 similar problems. During the data analysis t-test for related sampling and t-test for unrelated sampling were used. The difference in problem solving techniques has also been examined in terms of gender. The study \ufb01ndings show that the courses that the participants took resulted in mathematical thinking changes. Reading involves various processes that range from visual identi\ufb01cation of writing to understanding the content and context. The main objective of this study is to fathom out the initial process of learning to read (decoding and comprehension) for students from \ufb01rst and second grade. The following tests were used: rapid serial naming (objects and letters), phonological awareness (manipulation and rhyme), picture vocabulary, decoding of words and reading comprehension.\u00a0This study found statistically signi\ufb01cant differences in all components observed in both age groups \u2013 students from \ufb01rst and second grade. Decoding of words has strongest correlation with the rapid naming of letters, phonological awareness and rapid naming of objects. Reading comprehension has strongest correlation with vocabulary size, phonological awareness and decoding of words. There was a statistically signi\ufb01cant difference between the sexes in terms of phonological awareness, vocabulary size and reading comprehension.\u00a0Predictors for the decoding of words for Bulgarian students from \ufb01rst and second grade are: the speed at which they read, rapid naming of letters and their level of phonological awareness. The article examines the reflection within the context of a speci\ufb01c pedagogical study on the formation of research skills in students by teaching the subject of \u201cMan and nature\u201d.
